Overview

Al Hamma is an ancient Roman swimming pool, characterized by its circular shape and constructed from limestone stones. It had a depth of two meters. Until recently, it served as a venue for swimming, recreation, and healing, as it emitted hot mineral water containing sulfur, which was beneficial for treating certain skin conditions. Regrettably, the water has since dried up, leaving only the stones behind as silent witnesses to the presence of the Roman civilization in the region.
